I've seen this online, which seems a very good deal for the budget end of the market (which is where I'm at), any opinions?

(It doesn't mention battery life, if anyone knows what the battery life is like I'd be indebted if you'd share!)

No it's an awful deal. You can get acer aspire ones with 1GB of RAM, and the atom processor with xp and a large hard drive for around 200 quid. Sorry can't find links at the minute.

    But that's a horrible deal!

    EDIT
    HERE'S ONE!

Wowzers, thanks Alanstrainor, I'll have to kick the a$$ of my friend who recommended that to me!

Would the Acer Aspire be much better than a Samsung N130, which I've found in a local store for 250euro? I like the feel of it, and it seems to have a similar spec to the Acer Aspire One you mentioned.

(I'd kinda prefer to buy from my local store rather than online, if there's no price difference)
