Web/iphone interface to program DVR?

Now that UPC seems to be upping it's game, what is the possibility of a 'remote record' interface to my DVR? I know this is available with Sky+ Surely there is no technical obstacle to this with cable. In fact I would have thought a cable service that also delivers internet would make this easy.

I wouldn't think it difficult to implement and I'd really like it. Hopefully it is in the 'coming soon'.
