    Hi

My iphone 3gs is jailbroken on 3.1.2 firmware 5.11 using blackra1n and blacksn0w.

It has worked no problem since I got it since xmas.

Last night, the battery died, and After charging it up, I was asked to unlock it again.

I did so using blackra1n. Everything worked perfectly until I realised that my router is not being picked up. My laptop sees the same router.

I've come to the conclusion that wifi is not working on my iphone 3gs.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks :)

edit: worth mentioning that after googling the problem, I was told to reset the network settings, I tried this and still am having the same problem.

I also would like to know if there is an alternative jailbreak to blackra1n coz I'm not one bit happy with my iphone 3gs not having wifi

Have you tried a full restore back to non-jailbroken? Just to check if it can see any wireless connections

it will come back once you jailbreak it again, fix for it is install Pushfix from cydia , and reboot.
it is common problem and keeps coming back but reset network setting fix it for me.

It happened to me too after installing blacksn0w, I just cycled the iPhone a few times and it came back.
