As its a private operator, they will more likely be more organised than the NRA or local authorities!

    Who's doing what, now?

The N4/N6 motorway is a PPP and managed by Eurolink

    You'd think that alright.
However I have it on good authority that the M6 operator forgot to order grit and had to borrow some from Galway CC to grit the road before it opened.:pac:

M4 was in tip top condition this morning 120km/h easy. On/off ramps were a different story altogether.

It surprises me that the streetlights between Intel and Celbridge(road that crosses the motorway) havent been fixed yet, that place is in total darkness.

I didn't realise they were charged with its upkeep - from the start at Leixlip and all they way west?

I'm fairly sure that was all part of the deal. We build it and then they get loads of money from tolls and they try and keep the motorway tidy!

I don't think thats the case....AFAIK the local authorities are charged with it's upkeep.... my parents live on the old N6 between Athlone and Ballinasloe and it hans't been gritted at all in recent weeks as Roscommon CoCo have to prioritise the use of their grit for the new M6
