Has anyone been on to UPC to get the new customer packages applied to an existing account? My last bill was €111 last month for basic Broadband, Phone , Digital max pack with the DVR and 2 extra boxes.

On there new customer offers they have a package for €95 which gives digital max with HD, Phone with anytime world, 15mb broadband and SKy Sports, which is a far better package (even when I add the 2 extra boxes). Idealy I'd like to just switch to it but if they wont do it I'll cancel altogether and reapply.

From reading this thread it seems it depends a lot on who you get through to. I'd say ring up and ask to switch and if they say no ask to speak to their loyalty team.
