    again offer only applys to analouge customers including pensioners upgrading.thing is pensioners get free line rental anyway,so how would that work:confused:,also so many area's that still have not been upgraded to phone and broadband,how many could take it up even if they wanted to?

    This is good, real competition :)

    The only thing I worry about is that Eircom are in such a state they may not be able to compete, ever.

    basically what this means is the pensioners who get 25e something from the state every month for there line rental will still get this even though they are technically nothing paying any line rental so technically they could get there TV and Phone free this way

    Ha. Its funny cause its true. I actually laughed out loud at that.

    But seriously - i'm not even concerned if eircom are driven to insolvency with the way they've carried themselves. We know theres someone out there who can build a decent communications network (UPC) so we'll survive somehow!
