My year is coming to an end with Sky Hd & I'm considering getting rid of this package due to my thinking its overly priced @ 15 quid or so extra....

I'm wondering (in any of your opinions) will Sky wave the sub on this package eventually like they did with Sky + sub a few years back??

I am hoping they do when the 3D thing kicks off (assuming they introduce a 3D tax)

Hoping myself, I don't sub to Sports & Movies, so 45 quid or so is too much for there basic tier in full with HD.

I'd rather lose the HD package & sub to Setanta

I think in time they definetly will get rid of it, also thinkning along the way of when the 3d channel launches later this yr. However they have done a deal to give this to pubs exclusively first so I wouldnt be thinking the waivering of this cost would anytime this yr...

3D channel exclusive to pubs? That's stupid. Do you get free glasses with your pint?

Aye I actually read that a couple of months back.

    Seems a bit odd.
