Reprogram Remote

Hello, Looking for some help. I have a UPC recording box, and with the remote I can change the volume on the TV by pressing the TV button (clever stuff) What I would like to do is use the TV button to be able to adjust my Philips Cineos surrond sound (Due my sone finiing out the original remote doesn't float) Does any one…
