I was waiting for some kind of wisecrack.

That being said, I will never respond to a question posed in textspeak. I would doubt that any intelligible answer would be understood.

First of all , don't use text speak on any forum if you want an answer ,

I used to be terrified about going to the dentist , but dentistry had come a long way in the last few years in regards to pain relief ,
Nowadays you wont even feel an injection as the dentist will numb your gum with a gel before you get the needle , root canal treatment is nothing to worry about either ,
I don't know any dentist in the Galway area but if I were you I would pick up the phone book and ring a dentist in your area and tell them about your fears , and ask any questions that you have .

Had serious dental phobia myself, left it a very long time, forced to go by emergency in the end. Did a bit of research, went to the <snip>. Burst into tears when I sat in the chair actually. My dentist was incredibly kind and gentle, with no hint of a lecture or contempt which I was expecting in spades. And very little pain, at any stage, and I had quite a few appts. Phobia completely gone, and the complete obsession about how bad my teeth were has gone too. I do know they don't accept medical cards, but you could bear it in mind when deciding. Ask for Eoin.
