    Hi all

    Does anyone know:

    What the catchment area is for this school?;
    What the chances are of getting my son in for Sept 2011 if his name is not already down?; and
    Am I right in thinking that this is the only non-denominational gael scoil in Dublin?

    Thanks for any help you can offer.

    No such thing as non-denom schools in Ireland.The Foras schools are multi-denom.I would say you may well be too late, but it's worth ringing the school to find out and get the name down asap.
    .
    If you look under "other info" on here, you'll find what the patronage is.

    Lios na NOg told us 6 months ago that we were too late for 2013 enrolment, but we could fill in a form and go on their waiting list, but we hadn't much of a chance of her being accepted.
    They also said we (both parents) and our daughter would have to do an interview in Irish in the spring of 2013 before they would decide whether to accept her.
    Interviewing a 4 year old for a place in a school was the daftest thing I'd ever heard....

    This is not non denominational it has Catholic Ethos . Put in your application anyway would be my advice and if Irish is what you are interested in apply also to Scoil Bhrid next door.
