Well, it doesn't all cancel out, you get √(2 kg² month / %).

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

    I think it's √(2 kg²/( month .%)) ?

Thanks guys, you have answered the question perfectly. But maybe I have asked the wrong question:

I am finding it tricky to figure out the units of Q* (Or EOQ Economic Order qty)

Reading the Wikipedia article, the units are units, so to speak. (Items, if you prefer).

Were you trying to check that analysing the units makes the equation make sense? (Dimensional analysis.) It does:
CD is in units of euro*item
    H is in euro/item
    So CD/H is in (item)^2
So its square root is in items, as it should be.

    Thanks everybody.
I am happy that the units cancel out to get what I need.

    √ 2 kg^2 . month^-1 . 1/100

...check... ...check... ...check! Thanks for the thread dude. I needed a brief brush-up on my math.
