Alcudia

    Hi All,

I am hoping to go to Alcudia in August. It will be my first time taking my daughter abroad so I want it to be a great experience for her. Alcudia has been suggested to me. It seems like an expensive holiday approx €700 per adult with a free child place. Obviously if the place is nice its worth the money.

I am just wondering does anyone have any advise/experience of Alcuida? We are looking at the SeaClub Complex to stay in.

Also has anyone had any issues with booking a holiday online? Or is it less problematic if I book through Falcon.

    Thanks for all your help!
    Fiona

myself and my fiance went a couple years back and its a nice place, very good for families. Not to busy but not to quiet. A Week in Alcudia was enough for us tho.

Stayed in seaclub and its broken into 4 different parts, we had to walk across the road to get to the swimming pool. We stayed in a ground floor studio room and could had to leave the curtains closed all the time to get some privacy. if your staying there do some research and stress that you want to stay in the nicer part.
To me it looked like they kept the best area for the Scandanavians.

Alcudia is nice but the seaclub can be hit and miss!

Went to the seaclub complex last year with partner and little girl and she loved it.
As Macman said its split into 4 different areas one of which is more or less outside the main complex but nice all the same.
We had a first floor apartment with balcony which was great to sit out on at night.
Evening entertainment was great as was the kids club during the day.
It is a about a 10-15 min walk to the beach which is stunning.
Would also recommend an evening trip to the marina for dinner as its lovely there with restaurants literally on the beach.
We booked with falcon but flew from belfast and saved a fair bit that way.
