    Khan-Maidana purse bid 1/18

    The WBA has called a purse bid for a showdown between WBA super lightweight champion Amir Khan and interim titleholder Marcos Maidana. The bidding will take place at 11AM on Monday, January 18th at the WBA’s Panama office. The bidding will be directed by Gilberto Jesus Mendoza and Jose Oliver Gomez.

    seems like freddie is pretty concerned about khan's fragile chin too... personally i think khan outboxes and stops maidana inside 8 but it'd only take one big shot from maidana to turn the fight
