So Im a 2nd year college student and my friend and I are looking to go to Europe and work for the summer. Niether of us are fluent in another language so English would have to be needed for the job.

We were thinking working in Irish pubs or pubs/clubs in general in the party resorts (Greek islands etc)

Has anyone done anything like this before?

Basically a J1 except in Europe.

    Thanks

It's basically not a J1 unless you intend to work in a non-EU country. You can work in whatever EU country you want as you are a citizen of the EU. I would imagine that your chances of employment would be seriously limited without another language although I'm sure that there are some tourist resorts that would need English speaking seasonal workers.

I did a J1 last year, I meant in the sense that we want to work and live in another country, much the same as what a J1 allows you to.

More so just looking for advice on how to go about getting a job there. Is there much employment to be had in the summer? Are there any companies that give assistance in setting ourselves up, like USIT etc?
    Thanks for the reply
