Well I'm home since about 6:20 and I think it might be time to head back towards work, seeing as the queue towards town was the entire length of the N3 dual-carriageway!!

    1. Get corn flakes and milk and pour in a bowl
    2. Leave bowl overnight
    3. When you wake up take bowl of the now most adhesive substance known to man and apply evenly to your car's tyres
    4. Laugh at people in traffic as you drive by at 40mph down the bus lane in your local city centre
    5. Profit

I take your cornflakes and raise you a dried bowl of weetabix, you could build a house with that instead of using mortar.

Isn't it just supposed to rain a lot tonight?

So wouldn't it all just be slush and dirt tomorrow? Thus we're back to the usual typical Irish weather?

no, becuase it will fill all the gaps in the slush and snow, freeze, and we'll end up with sleet ice

the 25 minute walk to work will take even longer

    Work!? Are ya mad

    "No work for me today"

I'd say stay off the roads and let the gritters do their job. The cars are just getting in the way of things at this stage.

Let's just hope they have more luck than this one.

I've heard about that website - that's the type of job every man should have!

Well the problem for me is that I live about 20 miles from work and it took me over 4hrs tonight. If it freezes badly tonight then it's going to be pure madness in the morning.

I don't know whether I should just roll over in the bed tomorrow morning...

Not back in college til february, and even then I barely go so I'd say I'll be ok

Although I need to somehow get over to DCU before the 15th, so hopefully the weather improves before then

I'm in college at 11.15am tomorrow, so I think it best to leave at about 8.00am. I made the mistake of missing the only class that's been scheduled this week so far and I've been punished for it
