Just wondering does anyone have any experience of playing hurling in new york or even football.

I'm heading over in the Summer and was just wondering what kind of a standard is there and how i would get in contact with a club over there??

Any past experiences or advice is very welcome,
    Thanks in advance

List of contact details for overseas clubs in the back of 'Around the World in GAA Days', by Aaron Dunne. Interesting read as well!
If you can't get hold of it I'll root out my copy and post up some details.

For the record, quite a decent standard over there any time I was over, particularly the football.

Thanks for the information lads... From what i can see on that website is there only three hurling clubs in new york?? If this is true surely the standard would be high enough

Must send a few emails anyway, thanks a million
