Duplicate/Multiple Accounts. *Please Read*.

We suspect that there are several folks in here who have 2 accounts. This is your one and only chance to get an amnesty.

If you have 2 accounts, PM me or any of the rugby mods and we will permanently site ban only one of your accounts (your choice which).

If you do not come forward within 24 hours and we subsequently discover duplicate accounts, both accounts will be permanently site-banned as per normal boards.ie terms and conditions.

Deadline: 1800, 7/1/2010.

Is it illegal to have two boards.ie accounts? I have two, I've never used them both simultaneously though. I used to post here with one account exclusively (good while ago now), now I post with this account exclusively.

To be honest I dont think this will make any difference.

If people want to set you another account simply to take the mick then they can just set up a new email address and register the username to it.

People who have more then one account registered to the same email address are nt generally here to cause trouble as they can easily be found out.

Its not against the rules to have two accounts unless you are getting around a ban. Whats the big deal?

Excellent, wanted to get some PR for this thread, locking it now.

Some folks pointed out that multiple accounts are allowed on boards - they are when not being used to bypass bans, or for shilling purposes (shills are not always commercial).

People are using them to get around bans, and for shilling. That stops now.
