So managed to source the proper Golf armrest to retrofit into my mkV GTi and was wondering if any boardsies might have done similar or preferably know somebody in Dublin who knows how to fit it?!
It needs a full dis assembly of the air vent assembly etc that is around the handbrake area to be fitted otherwise i'd probably have a bash at it myself but unfortunately not that simple! There's a heap of pieces in the box!

http://www.cartronics.net/ offered to fit an armrest to a Vectra for me a few years ago if I could source the parts. Can't see why they wouldn't give it a bash.

Based in Santry and I've used them before for fitting leather interiors and DVD systems. Top quality work for that sort of thing and I'm sure they are used to removing the bits of trim needed to get to the mounting points.
