Mod Edit: Fixed that for ya.

Secondly, that was meant to be WASHING JEANS!!!
Moving swiftly on, I recently posted a thread about a crackin’ pair of Hilfiger Jeans I bought, that are now too loose (I only bought them a month ago) :(

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055783074

Anyhoo, I was asking where was the best place to get them taken in.
Got some great answers, thanks Gavin Shells, Pugmister, Jdivision and Gyalist! ;)

However I got to thinking about putting them on a 60 degree wash to make them a bit more snug.

Has anyone ever tried this, if so……

    Thanks in advance Folks,

Oh, and a Very Happy New Year toeach and every one of you!!!! :)

well i tend to just wash my jeans at a higher temp sometimes anyway, if they've gotten a bit grimy... they don't really shrink, or if they do they go back to where they were before... plus you run the risk of them just shortening or something, which presumably you don't want...

I always do this with skinny jeans to keep them tight, they do stretch out a bit again after one wear though.

You'd want to be careful though, in case they shrink 'up' and well as 'in' if you get me - you don't want them to be too short! Not sure if this actually happens though, i've never done it myself.

I'd say putting them in the dryer would be more effective.

I did this before, but they always return to the normal size after a few wears. I'm tempted to try it with a dryer, but I'm guessing the legs would shrink also.
