I'm just going to ask here to save me from going through the entire internet looking for an answer to find there is none.

Is there any way of tracking down a foal of a horse that you own?
My mare had a foal 4 years ago, I completly forgot his registered name.

He is registered with the arab horse society, as well as his mother, my horse.

Is there any way of tracking down even what his registered name is?
This is from pure interest of course, I just want to know what my horse's foal was called.

A phone call or email to the Arab Horse Society is probably your best bet? It would be considered public information I imagine, so they shouldn't have a problem telling you? Would he be registered with the Irish Horse Board too? If so, they might be able to help.
