ITV on FTA card not working

    Hi i bought Anglia region FTA card. itv1 doesn't seem to be working just a 'FYI: ring this number to get ITV' message.
    Tried turning box off at mains and booting up again.
    tried taking out card, putting old card (TT region) and, then putting back in new one.
    tried just leaving card in box to see what happens. still no change.

    all other channels incl sky3 working perfect. itv1 working perfect in other channels even in Anglia region.
    should i try Services, 4-0-1, Select and do a New Installation for channel listing and have phone-line connected or considering its a '+353' number its dialing from is that a big no no?

    That must be one of the few encrypted ITV regions. How long did you leave the card in the box for?

    Leave it in overnight and it should come on.

    no luck mossy but i think your right. Anglia is one of the encrypted regions if you don't tie a particular card to a particular box before Oct 1st 2009 but my dad got an Anglia W region card and it works perfect albeit after a while.

    My sister has another Anglia W region which says 'Wrong card for this set top box' on itv1, sky3 and prob some others.

    it works on 993 the grandest but it would be better to have it on 103

    they are FTV cards (not FTA)... but to your problem
    are the other FTV Channels, Fiver, FiveUsa and Sky 3 working?
    if not you maybe need to contact Sky to get them to activate the
    Card
    the Skyman

    ill prob have to get the guy from essex i bought it from to do it as i don't think its legal to have (freesat from sky) or (freetoview from sky) in ROI. perhaps not illegal as such but from their point of view they can only supply it to a GB or NI postal code
    oh and five usa, five usa +1, fiver, and fiver +1 seem to be working the finest

    five and fiver and five us channels are no longer displayed on my sky box with the english card :-(

    forget it, a quick in and out with the card, followed by a search for listings and they are all back :D
