    Hi All,

I have a technical question in relation to chorus cable connection.

I currently have eircom broadband and phone package. Bit expensive for my needs and I'm looking for better value.

I am looking at getting the chorus broadband, phone and tv package. Chorus told me that the house is already cabled and they dont need to run cables in from the road.

I checked inside the front door under the carpet and there is an RJ11 4 core wire cable terminating at an eircom box on the wall.

Next to the terminating eircom box there is a blank box with a coax cable that has been run to the attic. This must have been installed to allow for a chorus tv installation in the future.

Does anyone know how the coax and rj11 cables are connected inside the front door?

Does anyone know is the chorus package and reliability any good around Ballincollig in Cork.

    thx

    t
