Multiroom without phone line?

    Is it possible to get Sky Multiroom without having a phone line in the house?

    No...in order to get multiroom you need an active telephone line in your home and all boxes would need to be permently connected to the line otherwise you will have to pay the full subscription for both boxes....if connected to a phoneline the second card will cost you €15 per month.

    No, in order to get Multiroomyou need a phone lineand the boxes must be connect to it permently.

    There was talk about using GPS and eternet (network) on HD Boxes.

    Thanks for the replies, no phone line in the house at the moment so guess its just one box for now.

    We were calling sky yesterday to enquire about this as we also have no phoneline and theres no budging on it! They need the phoneline to ensure that the new box is located where its installed as it seems at first when mulitroom was introduced that people were moving the extra box to neighbours houses etc!
    I think its a shame though was so looking forward to getting it.
