    Hi
spacer.gifI have noticed that when i fill my 03 Audi A4 1.9 tdi it only gives me approx 360 miles. Before it gave me around 460 miles. Also i am not getting as good as MPG as before. Is this because of the freezing temp and is there any fuel additive that can help. Thanks

Cars do fewer MPG in cold weather.
If you clean your engine (i.e a servicing) it will do better
tyres properly inflated and port injector cleaner (motor factors) is a much cheaper option and will give you better MPG

Additives arent really going to do anything for your engine and VW/Audi say no to them anyway.

My Golf TDI is also doing less milage in the cold weather but I put that down to a fault with a tempreture sensor that I know I have.

I was kinda hoping after I got it replaced the mileage would go up but I guess I have to blame the damn cold now haha.

That still seems a rather low milage anyway though. I usually get around 600 from a tank (The Summer and the sensor was ok)

EDIT: Mine is the older version of the TDI then yours and you probably have over 100 horsepower? They probably account for it.
