    Hi,
I am trying to shift off around 10lbs in about 2 months and I need ideas for lunch time. I usually have porrige or weetabix or a low fat yougurt with granola for breakfast. I can have porrige 5 times a week. I often a sandwich at lunch and I am trying to think of other things so as to avoid bread, I do like soup but feel I would need something else. I like eggs also so would a scramble of 2 eggs with some baked beans be too much at lunch. Could I put some tuna on a cracker bread I know the tuna you get in the deli has lots of mayo in it but would 2 tablespoons be ok ? For dinner I would have grilled salmon 2 times weekly with lots of veg and a very small potato. I also make chicken stir fry or a piece of steak with veg and some rice. Which is better when trying to lose weight rice noodles or potato with the dinner. At 11 I would have a piece of fruit and at 4 I could have another piece of fruit and at night I would have a low fat yougart or a mullier rice or a low cal choclate drink. Do I need to cut out more? The weekend is my downfall as I would have 2 to 3 glass of wine 3 day and a dessert 1 evening. I am thinking of trying to reduce the wine to 2 glasses 2 days and cutting the dessert. Any other ideas ? I also walk 5 times a week for about 40 - 50 mins at a good pace.

Flaxseed bread is yummy, easy and quick to make:

50g ground flaxseed (keep it in the freezer after opening, it goes rancid quickly)
    50g ground almonds
    2 egg whites
1tbsp of olive oil or 1tbsp of melted butter
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Mix all the ingredients together and spread in a square plastic microwave container.

Nuke in a microwave for 2 minutes.

Turn out on a plate and leave to dry for 10 mins and cut into slices.

Instead of sandwiches, you could make roll-ups.

Take slices of turkey, ham, etc and spread them with whatever you like and whatever fits with your diet plan:

    cream cheese
    hummus
    pesto
    other cheeses
    beans
    other spreads like eggplant
    tuna

    fill with vegetables, lettuces...

    mustard... chili sauce...get creative.

then you just roll them up. You could use a toothpick to hold them together.

or .. you could have fish or meat that you like along with lots of salad veggies like spinach, lettuce, onion, peppers, radishes, beetroot, carrot, tomatoes etc etc

Grain free burritos: lay out a large soft lettuce leaf add sliced avocado, salad veggies, beans and salsa and roll up!
