Running Gear Sizes

    Hi,
I've decided to start doing my running in the morning before work as the evenings are out, between night classes and a 7 month old. Hopefully things will thaw a bit next week to allow me to start this and i'm thinking of getting a pair of long running tights to make things a bit more bareable at 6a.m.
I've just been on a website www.startfitness.co.uk and found some reasonably priced ones, but i'm not sure about the sizes. The sizes are S, L, XL or XXL. I'm 5' 10" average build with a bit of a gut so i'm hoping the Large will be ok. Has anybody any experience with these sizes and should i maybe go for the XL?? I've only ever run in shorts so i'm not sure what my usual size would be.

    Thanks.

If it their own brand (more miles), I've found a Medium in their tights to be fine. I'm about 6ft and 83kgs I reckon the large would have been too loose around the waist, definately don't think you'll need the XL they tend to fit on the large size if you know what I mean. I've become a big fan of their gear, the prices of the more miles if great and the quality is excellent

I found pretty accurate sizing guides for stuff on the Wiggle website before. Just click on the description tab for each item and it should give that products guide:

    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/c/run/8/Tights_-_Run/

They vary from one manufacturer to another though so check the right ones.

I don't think they had the medium in the ones i saw but i might need the large. I'm 90kgs so a bit more room around the waist might not be a bad thing. All i need now is motivation.

    Thanks for the help.
