I'd be up for this, but i'd say you'll probably just delete the group after a few weeks.

    Started a new group.

    ID: 8088
    Password: boards

******* I am going to be closing this group down since the other one is up an running. The purpose is for us to all play as a group and I fear two groups will cause a split. If you have joined my group above, I will be removing you from that group, please join In Tuition's group. I apologize to In Tuition for jumping the gun and creating a new group so quickly. I look forward to the up coming season.**************

I'm in too. No Irish playing this week cos it's only for winners on last years PGA Tour. They are available after that for events they are entered into.

I've decided that I am going to put by €3 (of my own money) for each event, there is 37 in total, meaning there will be €111 in the kitty come the end of the Tour Championship.

Please god I'm still around and the winner (person with the most points overall) will receive a round of golf somewhere for 2 people. Only players who are signed up from event 1, starting tomorrow, will be eligible for the prize.

All the best for the season ahead :)

Nice on In_tuition, should make things more interesting.:)

I don't know how it's done, but if there was an account, I'd do the same..., or maybe a once off contribution from all entries...
    Just to make it interesting:p

That's it, most people play for a few months and throw the towel in, hopefully this will give them an extra incentive to log on before each tournament. Only a few euro each week and I'll throw it into a jar starting tomorrow :)

Not going to go down that route.

If you or anyone else wants to put €1 or 2 or whatever towards the kitty each week, yourself, for the end by all means commit to it.

    It's cool, totally my decision.

Perhaps someone else will take up the mantle next time round.

    Best of luck.

30 participants in the group before the start of the SBS

I think only 21 people have confirmed on this thread that they have signed up.

Can each person who has registered please confirm their TEAM NAME as cheating (someone with 2 names registered) would be unacceptable!

My team name is Intuition # 1 of 30

To save cluttering up the thread each person can send me a PM and confirm their Team Name.

I will then post the full list on here.

I had a bit of a crappy start, currently riding in 18th. I think certain individuals have hexed my team!

I've only had 14 players (including myself) confirm their team names, hoping the other 16 can do so asap (before the event ends!)

You scored 54 for round 1, if indeed Birdie Kings is your Team Name.

    Hi All,

    My first post on boards.ie!

Great idea to set up a boards group. I've just registered on the site as this should be a bit of craic and will keep me interested in the Fantasy golf throughout the year. My team name is HarriMcilroy - sad I know but obviously playing the Irish card and didn't expect to join an Irish group.

In_tuition glad you decided to keep posting up your tips each week as I made a few pennies last year following them. Granted I lost it again following my own!

    Joint 6th.

    Joint best score was 62.

If you fail to remember your details, register again before for next week and I will include your score this week into the end of year totals.

We (folks outside of the US) can't claim any prizes anyway.

PS: If you registered information that you can remember you can try here to retrieve your details.
