I'm looking for an airsoft mask with a mesh visor but i want the mesh to cover the full area of my face (not just the eyes). A more clearer picture would be like a fencing mask without the neck guard
    Heres a picture:

The online store that sells them is brass-guard but the shipping alone is 42 euro, they are in a weird russian language and I dont know if they are trustable. Is there any retailers in Ireland who sell this mask oir something similar? or if not does anyone know if there are any trustable sites to buy it from?

Those are pretty sweet. They seem to have an English language site (poorly translated at least, link above). Looks like those chaps manufacture them for wholesale, as the minimum order is 3 apparently. You could always give them a shout (if you speak Russian) as they list a number on the site or email direct asking about (less dodgy looking) resellers (they list a couple on the site).

they have a guy based in netherlands now for the eu, shipping much cheaper (nearly halved) in which you could order multiple masks to save and you can pay by paypal

will see if i can route out that email with the details later

I thought it is difficult to find the same Airsoft Mask as the picture shows, you can search it on ebay. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_npmv=3&_trksid=m570&_nkw=+Airsoft+Mask
May be you could find the similar one :D

    Good luck to you

Since nobody has yet pointed it out, those masks are woven mesh. Woven is good enough for your lower face but is not suitable for eye protection as it deforms with multiple BB strikes. For eye protection you need stamped mesh.

The same crowd do a lower face mask using the same woven mesh which is fine. Quality Airsoft Supplies are also bringing out a similar mask and bitter end have mesh lowers too. You're better off with a separate lower and upper than you are with woven eye protection.

So would the praetorian masks here be the same? They look to have a different Mesh pattern then the OP's ones, but that might be just my eyes fooling me.

WOud you be safe wearing this?

the ones you linked to are the brass guard models, meshmasks.eu are just a brass guard distributor so there exactly the same, it would be made of woven mesh instead of stamped

OK, fair enough. Just thought they looked class (personal preference). When I get one, I'll just stick to the ones in Quality.

Iv read up on people testing these and they said since the mesh can very slightly flex it helps the bb's bounce off instead of shattering on impact but without causing dents. Maybe really cheap chinese clone mask woven mesh may be **** but these supposed to be quality.

you could look at this alternative from quality airsoft supplies http://tntquality.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=12&zenid=c01442d9b5c3d783194e3952d2c9cbeb

BBs can push the mesh apart enlarging the hole to the point where a BB can go through. This is not possible with stamped.

Maybe over time with full auto point blank with over our legal limit. Im not saying that cant happen just well made mesh can take alot of punishment.

Thats how i roll. perforated steel Mark 2 full face helmet.

Mark 3 underway, pneumatically controlled front opening , increased field of view, increased heat dissipation and reduced weight.
Everyone will want one.... :D

i searched the world (seriously, emailed like 10 suppliers . only sell in bulk 1 tonne or more) finally was speaking to a mate of mine , he went into his garage and pulled out a sheet.....SCORE....

you want some ? 100mm x 50mm should be enough for a set of googles.

i tested it to 1j,multiple strikes on the same spot....no deflection of steel...epic deflection of BB's

The proper mesh masks use a welded mesh so no it can't push the mesh apart, the wire would snap first (which would take many repeated flexes of the same individual point to cause) cant really comment on the cheap versions as to be honest masks are not something to cheap out on in my opinion

    ah thats deadly man,
how did you bend it? and cut it.

Bend it = brute force and ignorance

cut it = angle grinder and hacksaw

the mark 3 helmet will have a moulded face piece which will require a leather sandbag and mallet to form the sheet metal.
So if anyone knows any panel beaters that could help let me know.
