No date confirmed on his website but I'd expect him to return for the Qatar Masters on the last weekend in January.

I just noticed he is playing in the PGA at Wentworth which is one he usually skips for his own reasons. I reckon because it is Ryder Cup year and with the purse available he is playing. Hoping he has a great year but I will follow him throughout the year and look forward to more excitement and those other moments  he is bound to give us. Best of luck to all the other Irish pros for the season.

I may be wrong but i think he normally skips it because he didnt like the greens at Wentworth, and now that they have them changed this year he said he would play.
Also he didnt get very good press for skipping the european tours flagship event.

How good is it to see Padraig up at the business end of a tournament in Europe again ?
Hope he can keep those doubles off the card for the weekend.

Congratulations you've just jinxed him, he'll do well to not finish last now.
