I used a car upholstery cleaner on my old faux leather sofa, but was actually designed for leather car seats. Works great and is usually a bit more potent than furniture cleaners from furniture stores which are really pricey. Paid about 8 euro for a big can of leather cleaning foam, just spray on, give it 5 mins and scrub off with a dry cloth, then wipe over with a clean damp one to get the residues off, worked a treat. My hubby's jacket had coloured my cream chairs and I thought they were beyond cleaning, but the car cleaner did the trick!!!

We have white leather dining room chairs and a white leather corner suite. So needless to say, everyone with the dark coloured jeans leaves an 'impression' on us! We found that the leather wipes from Home Store & More work great! Plus, they have a protectant in them.
