AnneValley 5 mile race 13th Feb - Dunhill

    Anyone doing this one? Anyone do it before? Is it very hilly, and tough? I'm not all that familiar with Dunhill, but afaik, it's not the flatist of places ;)

    Hey Ruby,
    The clue is in the name Dunhill.......
    I have done it the last two years,its tough alright,not one for your best time,there are two climbs as far as i can remember,but overall probably the second toughest 5 miler i have done ( Clashmore is a beast )

    There are 3 races in consecutive weeks to end Feb.
    Dunhill,Kilmac and the Dungarvan 10k.
    If Dunhill was in the middle i would skip it,but as i wont have raced since mid dec when it comes around i know it will be hard to resist.

    Ah sure I'll see how January goes. Have had a disappointing few weeks milage wise, and confidence is slipping (no pun intended). Hilly steep running seems a bit out of my league!

    I think I might print off the map and check the route some weekend, and decide then.

    ...and all this for €12.00. This looks like excellent valus for money and seems hard to beat.
