    Hi Guys,
I have a Dell Studio 17 and am looking to get rid of it but dont know how much to sell it for. Its a fairly high end one with:

    4 gigs ram
    2.6Ghz DualCore, 6mb cache proc
    17" screen
    yada yada..

I was wondering if anyone had any number they could throw at me that would be around what it is worth, it is approximately 11 months old and cost in excess of 1200 euro i think. I cant remember exactly now.

you could buy something similar (not as fast processor) for 649..

theres a very big difference between a 2.14 dual core 3 mg cache and a 2.6 6mg cache lappy.

But i do see what you mean. I checked how much it was for the upgrade to my processor, its an extra 290 euro.

What processor is it exactly? What graphics card does it have? How's the battery? Does it hold a charge? And if it does how much?

gets about 2 hours outa the battery now.

Graphics card is crap, not a gaming lappy :/

Its actually not a 6 meg cache ffs!! :(

    P8700 2.53Ghz 3meg cache i think.

dont know how much to put it up for!

Thought that 6mb cache sounded off. If it has that processor and no dedicated graphics then i really cant see it making more than the cheapest Studio 17 on Dell at the minute which is about 600.
The one for 600 has a high resolution screen,ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics, 3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. The only thing it doesn't have is the superior processor your machine has.
