    Hi !

Just wondering what do I need to apply for social welfare allowance, i have a job right now, but just hate it (want to quit) and would like to rest a few months at home. I was already on unemployed benefits for 8 months , i'm just not sure that i would be entitled to apply again because that time i got a letter about that have reached 8 months and they would suspend the money or smthing like that .

    thx

Wouldn't we all love a rest? I don't think it's fair for you to quit your job and get taxpayers money every week just so you can sit at home for a few months. My job exhausts me sometimes but I still get up every morning and do it. A lot of people hate their jobs.

The only reason you should "rest" at home for a few months is if you are sick and incapable of working. That's different. Then you would get disability allowance anyway.
