sky newbie , just a question ??

    hi all , getting sky installed next week , am opting for just one room (sky plus box) as ive no intention of being bullied into getting a landline , im told this is the only way i can have more than 1 box , very annoying ! :confused: anyhoo my question is are "magic eyes " still available ? i had sky years ago and remember having one in my bedroom , is this my only option for tv in my room apart from getting a landline ? any help or advice appreciated , oh it cost 115 euro , 45 for sky plus box 35 for having no landline and 35 for installation for anyone wondering , cheers

    Hi, these are definately still available. I've seen them over the xmas, I think in a Sony Centre, but you should be able to get them from any electronic store or even argos. I think most usually come packaged with a spare remote also (regular sky rather than sky+ remote)

    Yep, still available. Bundled with remote (usually standard Sky remotes rather than Sky+ remote tho) or sold standalone. I got one about a year ago...

    Powercity "Bricks and Mortar" shop but I suppose Argos, DID, even the likes of Woodies DIY and B&Q probably do them too.

    Ebay also has tons of places that sell 'em.

    thanks a mil for that info , now all i have to do its try set it up . lol dont think the sky installation guy will do it for me for a little extra somehow :rolleyes:
