Anybody think these are of some use or used them for running?? The muppets on The Apprentice were selling them.

No need to call them muppets !!!
Sam Conroy is a runner with Donore Harriers.

I suffer from sinitus and find them great for races - expensive over here, I normally bring back a couple of bumper packs from the US, less than half the price.

I gave them a go (sucker for the advertising). Used one a few weeks ago during a tempo run, felt i didn't put in on right, didn't seem to get much of an effect and felt it was coming off about 3 miles into the tempo run so I ripped it off...immediately noticed the difference without it so will definetly be using one in my next race. I'm presuming its better to use them only in races to get a better effect that way?? Like racing in lighter runners than you train in?

I have never used them, but during the three and two mile races in Raheny before Christmas I noticed that because I was breathing so deep and fast that as I breathed in my nostrisils were closing on themselves, and I was thinking of getting some strips that people use if they snore, which may be a cheaper but as effective option. Will try this in the near future.

If I go by you in Raheny, one of two things will have happened, 1. you have fallen over and haven't got up for about 4 mins or 2. I have jet packs on both of my runners!
