You always here it at wrestling shows. But are we really THAT loud in comparrison to other places like Britain, france and various crowds in the US. Is Ireland special when it comes to crowd reaction??

It be interesting to see a live WWE or TNA from Ireland but I doubt it will ever happen.

The Irish market isn't one that the WWE or TNA probably pay much attention to.

I doubt any crowds in Europe are that good really, most Europeans are marks. There is no like wrestling culture here imo.

It was for TNA's recent show, the crowd reaction during The British Invasion vs. Beer Money was off the charts, plus the hot crowd seemed to really pump up Joe. So I'd imagine we at least rank pretty highly.

Absense makes the heart grow fonder, and familiarity breeds contempt is my views on such.

I've been to multiple house shows in Dublin, Belfast and England (Manchester, Sheffield and London) and in general, the crowd is really awesomely raucous. Usually a younger crowd though, but a really pleasant atmosphere. There's only a smattering of 'veteran/smark' fans but it's still loads of fun. I've only been to one 'poor' (from a crowd perspective) and that was a RAW house show in 2006, headlined by Cena/Khali. It was god-awful!

TNA house shows have a good atmos but the general quality is really poor. You can only really overlook it if it's your first house show... If you haven't been to either I'd really recommend going - it's in small arenas so it's quite an intimate atmosphere :) Best wrestling show I ever went to was TNA in Liverpool in 2008. It was amazing. Crowd were full of rabid fans shouting themselves hoarse for the whole show :):)

Hhahaha, TNA house shows actually mirror tv shows, whereas WWE ones are crap.

    No.

I have seen wwe in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Wembley and i see no difference in the atmosphere.

I have been in the crowd at around 15 wwe(f) events in the states and the crowd was buzzing too.

I seen both Smackdown at the RDS & Raw at the Point going back a few years ago, and the crowd at each were class, really into what was happening etc. (got to see Eddie Guererro Vs Rey at Smacdown + Kurt Angle Vs HBK at Raw:D)

First show I was ever at in Dublin was headlined by Benoit/HHH shortly after WM20 and the crowd was rocking that night. Surprisingly Flair got the biggest ovation of the night when he came out for a 6 man tag with Evolution. Besides that the show headlined by Angle/Cena in 2005 was pretty good, the crowd was rabid during the main event with duelling chants in differant parts of the arena.

There has been some below par atmospheres though-I wasnt impressed with the Smackdown show in the RDS and the Raw Show with Cena/Khali had a really dead crowd. Funny side note on this show-it was on midweek and the Hardys had lost the tag belts to Cade/Murdoch on the Monday night which none of the kids in the audience knew because they hadnt watched Raw live on the monday night (for obvious reasons) so when they announced it all the kids were shocked.
Finlay always got massive pops though so Id imagine Sheamus would be the same.

I was at the show the night before,WWE hadnt been in Ireland in ages,so you knew the crowd would be wild, the place went mental when the Fink came out to "Welcome To The Jungle" and introduced Stephanie McMahon! Good card that night actually now that I think of it,HBK/HHH was a great match.
