Windscreen wipers

    I tried to use my windscreen wipers while windscreen was frozen and nothing happened. Car is now unfrozen but only back window wiper and washer work. Any idea what it could be and how to fix it?

    I'd say you popped the fuse trying to the the wipers to move. That'd by the first port of call.

    Iwas hoping it would be a fuse but i checked all fuses and they were ok :( i'mguessing its something related to the motor which will set me back a few dollars

    Propably wisper motor gone.
    If you have any multimeter you can check voltage suply.

    Just on the off chance it is a newish VAG car..

    I got caught out yet again while testing an 09 Golf today. If the bonnet open, even just from pulling the bonnet pull catch the wipers won't work

    Bang on,same with vw caddy.OP,can you hear the motor running when you turn on the wipers? If so,you may have broken the linkage
