Help! SFUtility plugin

Anyone experienced this issue before and if so how do I fix it? I recently bought iWork 09 and installed it on my macbook white. When I try to open a numbers or pages document I am getting a beach ball and then error: "Numbers quit unexpectedly while using the SFUtility plugin."

I have tried OnyX and scanned and fixed preferences. I installed snow leopard last week hoping that may help. Both with no result. I am fairly new to Mac. Have I just wasted the €80 I spent on iWork?

    Have you tried reinstalling iWork?
Is everything up to date in Software Update?
Did you use a trial version of iWork before purchasing the full version?

A few other things to try:

    - Repair disk permissions using Disk Utility (- I'm suspicious of OnyX).

    - Try creating a new user account (in System Prefs > Accounts). Login in under it briefly and see if the problem is repeated there.

    - If so, go to Library (the main one) > Preferences and trash the iWork09 plist file.

Thanks for reply. I have tried reinstalling, trial version did not work, same error I'm getting now (the mac salesperson I bought iWork from said the full version should work properly). Tried all you advised and still not working.

Can I remaster a mac the same way you can a PC to fix any software issues?
