If you open a box of eggs and one is already cracked, is it a bad idea to go ahead and cook it? Even if nothing has spilled out?

If nothing has spilled out, you should be safe enough using the eggs in cakes, or dishes that cook the egg thoroughly.

I buy cracked eggs the whole time in my local farmers market specifically for baking, as they are much cheaper and are not badly cracked.

Do not use for a meringues etc - but throw into a cake and you'll be fine.
