stopped off in some random Mcdonalds in the north west of Belgum coming from Calais and i heard this great loud noise and i turned out the side window of the restraunt to see a 747-100(identical colours to the one used in die hard 2)

tearing off down a taxiway :D

    made my journey!

By the way, my house at home to my house in holland is 666.1 miles lol

Loud eh? I've never actually seen one of them in the flesh except on display.

I had a similar nice surprise last May when I was driving from Paris to Brussles.. the Airbus Beluga flew across the road not once but came around a while later so I got to see it twice! Such an odd looking aircraft. Very exciting to see it but everyone else in the car thought I was a bit mental and didnt see what the big deal was. Sorry about the image quality, was only using a compact.

Last summer I was travelling on the RER from Charles de Gaulle and saw an A380 doing a demo flight over Le Bourget. Nice to see it in real-life.

Qantas A380 has a nice nose around the inside of an A380, very impressive...
