Can anyone list a few studios around dublin with a good rep? I want to shop around, get good feedback etc before I make my mind up! :)

Sarah, best to give some more detail about your budget and the project, is it a single, ep, album? Full band, solo artist? Those details will get you more informed recommendations...

Oh sorry! Just piano and vocals, 4 tracks.

Budget? I also presume you require a studio with a piano, in which case what kind of piano do you want?

    500. I'd like the piano to be recorded with midi so any electronic piano with weighted keys pedal etc...and obviously some good piano refills too.

You'd definitely get a day in a good studio for what you want to pay. Though seeing as you are going the studio route you should maybe consider finding one with a nice piano. The software instrument piano is something you could do at home yourself.

The piano doesn't have to be necessarily anything spectacular either, just a good sounding upright or whatever. If you are well able to play the pieces you should be able to get them down fairly quickly, and more importantly your recording will have significantly more "vibe".

Westland has a nice Baldwin Grand and Cauldron has a Yamaha C7 I think it is.
