Illegal downloaders will be sent a warning e-mail, then a letter if they continue, and finally must appear before a judge if they offend again.
The judge can impose a fine, or suspend their access to the internet.

Well it will be interesting to see what sort of effect it has on french internet users and whether other countries will be pressured into bringing in similar policies.

I'm not condoning illegal downloading of pirate material but i would assume most ISP's would lose alot of customers to high speed / bandwidth packages if this was to be enforced.

    Opinions?
