I just got a Wii before Christmas and feel it's ideal for sports games given the control system. I'll be sticking with the PC for Call of Duty etc. I have Grand Slam Tennis which is great, even if I can't win a set, and I'm looking for recommendations for other games. I have Tiger Woods 10 on order but any siggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

Depends what what sports you like OP.

For football, I'd say Fifa or Pro-Evo. Played Fifa 09 on the Wii and it was excellent (the footii match is brilliant). For Tennis, Top Spin, Motorsports = Formual 1 '10 or even Mario Kart Wii (tech not a sports game but still good fun), Basketball = NBA Live 09/10 or NBA 2K9/10. Don't forget about Wii Sports resort as well as the the original Wii Sports.

    Hope that helps:):)

I've got madden, its pretty nice. You use the sensors to catch the ball etc.

Hey mossie, just wondering how you find Tiger Woods 2010. Do you have the motionplus with that? Am thinking about buying it, I have 2009 and it isnt bad but sometimes doesnt pick up on the motion as I would like. Thanks

I've played both Tiger Woods 2009 and Tiger Woods 2010 with the motion plus. The later is definitely better, as you really have to emulate a real swing. It's a lot more sensitive to wrist movement etc.

Having said that, it's really more of the same thing. I wouldn't pay a lot of money to upgrade really, unless you really love the tiger Woods games.

It's quite a bit better that my nephews TW 2009. The motion plus is a big difference, it pick up any twist of your wrists so you can put fade or draw on your shot (deliberately or otherwise :) ) so it's definitely a more realistic golf game. Putting is also better I think.

Nice Sid_Justice and mossie, thanks for the quick reply. Might have to check it out sometime. I suppose I'll have to get the motionplus some time or another.
