    Two different brands there.

Some people here are big fans of 2xu.
    Others big fans of Skins.

I am a skins fan and have used them for years.
Very very overpriced in the Republic for the last few years.
www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk is the best price around and delivery is free and prompt.

    Hi Tunney;

Yeah forgot the / in between the 2. I have a pair of 2xu and then just a pair of calf covering skins.

Starting cross country in jan so decided i need another pair as the ones i got in aldi are ok for the road but not great.

Do you think skins are better than 2xu or all the same???

    Sorry - a little confused.
What do you "need another pair" of?

    Sorry.

Have one pair of 2xu from waist down.
Need another pair of skins or 2xu that covers all the bottom half from waist down.

As they will get destroy in cross country.

So was wondering is skins or 2xu better?

Okay - so you are looking for compression tights to wear during running.

For me that would be Skins all the way. I do not like 2xu.
I have two pairs of skins during exercise tights and love them.

That being said if you actually wear them during an XC race expect to be tripped up and for everyone to stamp repeatedly on you :)

I wouldn't wear them during a XC race. They won't make you any faster, the events are too short for the muscle support aspect to come into play and you'll probably over heat in them.

    Hmmm

So for cross country i should just run in shorts?

Even in the current cold weather for the race in Tymon Park on the 7th of Jan?

    I sound like a wimp now :)

You should run in whatever you want.

Personally I would stick to shorts for XC races as I would imagine most on here would.
