Hi, i have a 2000 fiat punto sitting in my drive that i need to get rid of. Im just wondering, how much should i sell it for scrap or parts?

A mate has asked me if he can have it. It can be fixed, the gear box is fecked on it and im not putting any more more money into the car.

Any tips and advice are welcome, thanks!

    DS

He should be happy enough to give you €250 for it, that's a bargain if he gets it on the road and if it turns out he can't you won't feel guilty about it. Working Punto with NCT are cheap enough so any more than €250 to a buddy would be a bit steep in my opinion.

If you can get that for it I'd take it unless you want the hassel of having to take parts out, try and flog them and then have to pay someone to take away what is left. You will be €200 to €300 better off than you were yesterday too. :)
