    Got a letter today saying i have to go for a meetin with local employment services next week? anyone know what this will entail?

    no but ley us know hopw ya get on will it help to get work is all id be wondering be great if it was im dling this thing 2 days a week were im just learning about doing good job interbiews and cv s and stuff and they said to me the last gruop they had all have eithe work or a course these days so be great iof i could get something god this xmas is a disaster for me no pay this week im broke thank god iv a nice family to loan me a few quid just to get stuff id need like milk n stuff stop its a joke. we should of got our double klast week not 2 weeks before the xmas week. dont want to ber a spoilt sport but glad to see tha back of this xmas specially when iv no money to go and socialise with friends in stuff. and i really feel sorry for folks with a couple of kids and a house to keep going must be worse for them

    I had to go to one of these meetings a few months ago. You and about 10 other people will be brought into a room where all the services that the LES offer are explained to you. You are then given the opportunity to sign up for any services you want ( like CV preparation). This is optional, not singing up won't affect your payment. I'm guessing that the letter said something like 'failing to attend may affect your payment'??

    All you have to do is attend the meeting. You don't need to sign up for any help if you don't want to.
