Ebay Postcode

What do you guys put in as your post code on ebay? Here there is no post code so I leave it blank and then it shows up as "default". I'm just wondering what everyone else does. Another thing I don't like is you have to fill out every line in the address. I only need to use two lines but you must use 3. It's kind of annoying. I was thinking maybe I should just put a dash there on the third but it looks quite bad and I don't won't the package to not arrive, obviously.

I'm sure others have experienced this, so what do you do?

For Ireland I use "Eire" as the post code.

Not sure if this would work for you as I don't know where you live, obviously.

As for the address, I use my address and if I have to use "address line 1", "address line 2" etc I do it ike this:

    Orlaith ********
    Orlaith ********
    My address 1
    My address 1
    My town
    My town
    My county
    My county
    Ireland
    Ireland

So my address (street name, town, county etc) appears a few times when a package is sent to me.

I do this with all websites I buy from, not just eBay and I've never had a problem with it.

If you don't have a post code, usually entering the number 0 in the post code field will solve the problem and allow you to enter your address. If the postie sees the 0, he'll probably ignore it. They're probably use to that by now.

Whenever I need a postcode entry, in whatever site, I type in N/A. So far, it's always been accepted. As for the address, are you sure you need to use every line? It's been a while since I used ebay, but isn't it where there's an asterisk that needs an entry? If I'm wrong, repeating the previous entry should do it.

na works for me, but I always include a note to sellers outside Ireland with my address in full and saying that we don't have postcodes, just to save "new" sellers mailing asking for a postcode.
