    Hi all,

I've recently got an Ipod touch and decided to buy some App,I got 2 one for €3.99 and another for €0.79..

I set this up through a 3V voucher,And left maybe a day between the purchases,

The weird thing is,The balance on my 3v was €6.38 and I spent €4.78 but when I checked my online 3v statement today I saw this:
    30/12/2009
    I-TUNES-EUR
    Purchase Insufficient funds
    €4.78
    €-4.78

    28/12/2009
    I-TUNES-EUR LONDON GB
    Purchase Approval
    €1.98
    €-1.98

Now I've noticed the Purchases of the 2 apps have been grouped together but I'm a bit puzzled as to what the €1.98 is all about?

    Cheers

I'm not 100% sure, but it might be to do with this:
    Apple Help wrote:
As with many other merchants, the iTunes Store places an authorization hold on your credit-card account for the approximate amount of any purchase you make. Similarly, if you update your billing information, the iTunes Store will place an authorization hold on your credit-card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD, to verify your account information.

You might see such authorization requests on your online statement. These requests are not actual charges; they are tests to confirm that your credit-card account is active and has credit available to accommodate transactions. Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The amount of time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.

    I know $1 isn't equal to €1.98, but it doesn't say usually. I hope this helps :).

No probs :). Haven't a clue how long it'll take, but surely it shouldn't be too long :).
