***This is not a MI statement.****
When all sides have made their side of the story known and the threat of legal proceedings are no longer an issue, then this issue can be discussed, but not until then.

This is an official statement from the horses mouth and i feel that if this post is deleted i will no longer post on the motorsport section as this statement is 100% official, that and the fact a Mod told me when he deleted my post yesterday that he would post a sticky on the topic and he didn't.

Boards can't afford to let posters' desire to post their opinions take the site down with legal threats of slander and/or defamation.

On a personal note, I couldn't care less what's happening with MI, but even someone like me can tell something fairly bitter and problematical is going on, ergo Boards should keep it at arms length.

Homer has made an inaccurate post and it should be corrected. He titles his post as an MI statement and it is not.It is a statement by , at that time , some ex members of the 2009 rallies committee and therefore is not an official MI statement. His post could breed confusion and should IMHO be corrected.

I would agree with the last post and would also add that the statement itself is extremely political and does not solve nor adress any of the outstanding issues...

Should we not continue to avoid this until the truth is outed?!
