Laptop Screen

    Hey,

    Basically, I broke my laptop screen today. it's not fully cracked you can still see all of it but it's still in a bit of a heap so I'd rather buy a new screen than let it get to me.

    My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1521, it's a 15" screen.

    I was wondering (a) where is the best place to buy a replacement screen [not really in for quality, just cheapness] (b) is replacement as easy as removing the strip cable and just attaching the new one,

    Your looking for a 15.4" LCD. Ebay would be the cheapest.

    A 1525 or a 6400 lcd will also fit your model.

    Any yes, it is that easy if you are technically minded in any way. Plenty of instructions online.
